1Who can attend the Symposium?
The Symposium is exclusively for employees of Network Child Care Services across our 21 child care locations. Please note, guests, family members, or non-staff are not permitted to attend.
2Is there a cost to attend?
There is no cost to staff to attend this event as Network Child Care Services is hosting the Symposium and covering the associated expenses for all Staff.
3Do I need to register in advance?
Yes registration is required by Friday, November 14th to attend the Symposium. Registering helps us plan for seating, meals, and materials, including the After Party.
4Will meals be provided?
Yes, breakfast, lunch and light refreshments will be served. There will also be food and drinks available in the evening.
5Do I have to attend the entire day?
We encourage full participation throughout the entire day so Staff may benefit from all sessions and networking opportunities.
6Can I only attend the evening portion of the Symposium?
The evening portion is for the attendees who participate the entire day.
7What should I bring?
Just yourself! Network Child Care Services will provide all materials you will need for the day.
8Is there parking or transit support?
All Staff are asked to attend the Symposium using the transportation method of their choice. Please note that parking expenses are the responsibility of each Staff, and these expenses will not be reimbursed for this event. Also be aware that parking is limited in the area of the hotel.
9Will childcare be provided?
At this time, childcare will not be provided.
10Will I receive payment to attend the Symposium?
Staff in attendance of the daytime portion of the Symposium will receive an honorarium payment.
