A Glimpse Into Our Reopening and How We Play & Share Together - Safely!

Message From Our Executive Director

We hope you are keeping well, healthy and safe! As the province and country continue to cope with the pandemic, stay at home orders and the spread of various COVID-19 variants, Network Child Care Services’ (Network) first commitment and priority is to ensure the safety of the children, families, staff and affiliated Home Child Care Providers.

Toronto Public Health (TPH), announced that as of Wednesday, April 7, 2021, all schools in Toronto will be closed to in-person learning.

Under this directive, we regret to advise that as of Wednesday, April 7, 2021 our Before and After School Programs are required to close temporarily, and our Licensed Home Child Care Programs will only be permitted to offer care to children who do not attend school. This will be in effect until Sunday April 18, 2021. Parents and families of Kindergarten and School Age children will not be charged fees during this closure.

Infants, Toddlers and Preschool children are allowed to attend our Licensed Child Care Centres and Home Child Care Programs.

Network maintains daily its enhanced practices, protocols, and policies to ensure that we are doing the best to keep children, families staff, and affiliated Home Child Care Providers safe based on guidelines from the City of Toronto Children’s Services, the Ministry of Education, and Toronto Public Health.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation, your patience and your understanding during these challenging and unprecedented times. We appreciate that the suspension of all services for school-aged children, across the city of Toronto, is a major inconvenience to everyone, to say nothing of the associated hardships.

We feel confident that we consistently meet all directives from the health agencies, knowing that we are providing the safest and healthiest environment for all children, staff and affiliated Home Child Care Providers.

Our thoughts are with all those who have been directly affected by COVID-19. We wish them a speedy recovery.

Network’s staff always remains an email away!
